DAVID CUNNINGHAM - Trumpet
David received his Bachelor of Music Education from Western Kentucky University in 2006. He received his Kodaly Teaching certification from New York University in 2009. David has experience teaching music at Brookside Charter schools for many years. He now teaches trumpet at both our Lenexa and Olathe Locations.
NICK HOWELL - Trumpet
Nick Howell is a trumpet player, composer, and teacher. He holds a Bachelor's in Music Education from UMKC. He performs regularly in Kansas City with groups such as The People’s Liberation Big Band, The Good Foot, Sansabelt, and Pitch Music Award-winning The New Riddim.
BEN ROMAN - Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium, Tuba
Benjamin received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from the University of North Texas in 2004. There he was active as a teacher and a performer in the Denton, Texas area before he moved back to Kansas. He is currently working on his Master of Trombone Performance degree at Kansas University. Ben teaches most of the low brass instruments, including trombone, baritone, and euphonium and has been teaching at R.E.W. for 6 years.
TERRI HOUSTON - Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium & Tuba
Terri received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Pittsburg State University in 2007. She performed with the Crowder Jazz Orchestra from 2005-2007. She received the student of the year award from the Pittsburg State University Department of Music for the 2006-2007 school year. In 2007 she was selected to perform with the kappa kappa psi national intercollegiate band in Orlando Florida.
