Kansas City Jazz Camp Information

The Kansas City Jazz Camp is a week-long summer day camp, brought to you by the Kansas City Jazz Alliance, partnering with REW Music. The ages of camp participants range from 13 to adult. The ability levels range from beginner to advanced. The camp focuses on jazz improvisation skills in a standard “big band” setting. The jazz camp faculty blend an academic perspective with “in the trenches” expertise. We welcome middle school, high school and college students, hobbyists, retirees and anyone with a desire to learn and have fun.
