Kansas City Jazz Camp Information

The Kansas City Jazz Camp is a week-long summer day camp, brought to you by the Kansas City Jazz Alliance, partnering with REW Music with additional sponsorship provided by the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra. The camp focuses on jazz improvisation skills in a standard “big band” setting. The jazz camp faculty blend an academic perspective with “in the trenches” expertise. This camp is designed for elite student jazz musicians at the middle school and high school level who have the desire to learn from some of the best jazz educators in the city.
